VENUE & EQUIPTMENT HIRE

Are you open for enquiries?

Yes we definitely are!   Either contact Vicky at vicky@cambridgeraceway.co.nz or +64 27 488 8454 or complete our 'Contact us' form and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Am I available to visit the space before booking?

Of course you are! Once making contact with Vicky (vicky@cambridgeraceway.co.nz | 0274 888 454)  it will be super easy to have a visit. We can then show you around and start to make plans on how you would like your event to happen.

Do you have any terms and conditions around booking and hiring?

We sure do! Just click on the Terms and Conditions link and they will appear.

How far in advance can I book?

Anytime you want! If the space you want is available there is no limit on how far in advance you can book.  We recommend booking as early as possible to avoid missing out on the space you want.

How many guests can your venue hold?

Depending which function space suits your needs, we can cater from small intermit settings to 270 people at a seated dinner, 350 seated theatre style or up to 500 cocktail style.

Are you a fully licensed venue?

Yes we are, we also supply the bar staff (including a Duty Manager) for your function.  Depending on your needs, we can offer a full cash bar (your guests pay as they go), a bar tab (you provide a maximum dollar value so there is no unexpected bill at the end - all drinks on a your tab to pay at the end), ½ and ½  meaning your guests pay half the drink price and the remaining goes on your tab.  We are open to another option that suits your needs and budget.

What time can we access the space to complete our set up/theming on the day?

We can work with you on this one, as it will depend what time your function starts and if we have another function using the space prior to.  If you have an evening function, we are generally able to offer access from 12.00pm on the day.

Can we move the furniture around?

Yes, you totally can!

Do the lounges have heating | air-conditioning?

Our Skyline, Presidents and Members Lounges all have heating and air-conditioning .  The Public Bar has heaters (no air-conditioning however it is on the ground floor so great indoor/outdoor flow with easy to leave open doors).

What time do we have to leave the venue by?

The bar will close at 12.00am (we can certainly close it earlier if that suited your function) and all guests must be offsite by 1.00am.

What time do we need to collect/tidy the space after our function?

This will depend what functions are booked in that space the following day.  If we do not have back-to-back functions, we ask that all equipment and your clean-up is completed by 10.00am the following morning.

Who do we contact for catering options?

We can work with:

  • The Club House.  They are onsite and offer great finger food/platter options (our Venue and Events team can help you with this)

  • We are happy to discuss other options if you have preferred caters in mind
