Meet The Horses
Unnamed
'Cassidy' is a yearling filly by Captain Crunch out of Callmemaybe.
Being trained in Cambridge by Tim Hall, she will progress on to training down heats from the 1st of December and plans have her at workouts and trials early next.
Tim has this to say: "She has impressed from day one of coming to the stable, is a very forward young horse with great gait and temperament. Everything she did in her first preparation she did with ease. Being from an early running Breckon Farms family and the good reports coming out about Captain Crunch yearlings it wouldn’t surprise if she made early two-year-old fillies races and that is the focus this preparation."
Unnamed
'Dreamy' is a yearling filly by Bettors Delight out of Amaretto Dream.
She is trained in Cambridge by Nicky Chilcott and is in her second preparation.
Nicky has this to say: "She is very professional, has just completed her first week jogging and is looking great. She is a “dream” around the barn and though it is early days, she is excellent in her work, has a lovely gait and is certainly showing promise."

Disappointingly, Whenyourehavingfun, the 2-year-old, Bettor's Delight - Time Flies filly that was with Arna didn't make the grade to be a race horse. Arna had mentioned she was a tiny horse and her physique match what was required to make a 2yo. This combined with a very difficult manner caused Arna to suggest we make a change and Tiny was returned home to Woodlands Stud.
Immediately after the upcoming sales at Karaka (18th Feb), Arna will select a horse that she will recommend to the Syndicate as a replacement.
