About Cambridge RDA
Our heart and purpose is to connect people with horses in ways that improve health, well being, and confidence. We work with people experiencing disability, or those who have specific challenges or needs, offering opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive alongside our amazing horses.

WANTED: UNICORN (well ... almost)
We know unicorns don’t exist but if you have a safe, steady, chonky horse who’s seen the world and takes life in stride, we’d love to meet them!
Cambridge RDA is on the lookout for a new team member to join our herd of therapy horses. Here’s what we’re after (picture of King Kiki below to show what we are after):
👉 Height: Between 15hh and 16hh (no taller, no shorter)
👉 Build: Heavy/heavy-cross – think solid and strong
👉 Temperament: Calm, kind, unflappable, and accommodating
👉 Experience: Must have been out and about – seen it, done it, not fazed
👉 Age: Not a major factor – it's the temperament that counts but nothing over 20 years please
👉 Ownership: We’re open to lease or borrow options, and we can offer a 5⭐️ home with full care and lots of love
👉 Budget: Modest, but we can promise your horse will want for nothing
This horse will be cherished, well looked after, and play an incredibly special role in changing lives through equine therapy. If you know of a big-hearted, big-bodied dude or dudette who might be the right fit, please get in touch!

CALLING EXPERIENCED HORSE PEOPLE
We’re on the lookout for confident, capable horse lovers to join our team as volunteer horse leaders in our therapeutic riding sessions.
📍 Cambridge RDA
🕘 We work: Tuesdays to Fridays | Approx. 8.30am–1.00pm (days and hours can be flexible)
If you have solid horse experience, are calm under pressure, and want to make a real difference in your community, we’d love to hear from you! You’ll be leading horses during sessions, working alongside our riders, coaches, and side walkers to create safe and positive experiences for everyone involved as well as taking the lead in getting the horse team ready for their day.

📝 Police checks are required (we'll help with that)
