Cambridge Raceway is steeped in history, from humble beginnings as a trotting club over a century ago it has built on its heritage and evolved into a multipurpose entertainment venue and the home of Harness racing in the Waikato. 

Waikato-BOP Harness Racing will hold 28 race meetings at Cambridge Raceway during the 2022/23 racing season which runs from the 1st August 2022 to 31st July 2023. 

The event continues to receive worldwide acclaim and support throughout the entire racing industry and wider community and has quickly become established as the pinnacle of the harness racing season.

On site facilities include the Clubhouse Sports Bar which is open Wednesday to Saturday, along with a range of function spaces which are available for hire 24/7. We also have a range of furniture and décor items available for hire which can be viewed here.
